 Stephanie
Hurt, a native of Belle Union, Indiana, grew up on a farm in Putnam
County. She is a Fillmore High School graduate.
After high school, Mrs. Hurt attended and was graduated from Indiana State University, where she obtained a degree in business education in 1972 with emphasis in Business Administration.
In January, 1972, Mrs. Hurt began her career at Central National Bank in Greencastle. In connection with her work in real estate loans, Mrs. Hurt was graduated from the National Banking School of Real Estate Finance, Ohio State University, in 1976.
She was later promoted to Central National Bank’s Trust Department, serving as Trust Officer. While working in that area, she completed the National Graduate Trust School (with distinction) in 1984 at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. Her thesis was titled (Fiduciary Liability, Head It Off At The Pass”. In 1984 she also became a Certified Financial Services Counselor. In 1985 she graduated from the Dale Carnegie School in Effective Speaking and Human Relations.

 After
graduating from Eagle Rock High School, Eagle Rock, CA, David
attended Los Angeles City College where he received an AA Degree
in Stage Management. David then worked for the Theater Arts Department
for 2 years before being drafted into the U.S. Army Artillery
for two years. After Military service, David graduated from the
Los Angeles College of Mortuary Science and began a 37 year career
in Funeral Service.
In 1971, he became a partner in the firm of Paul Mortuary Inc.,
who also operates The Little Chapel by-the-Sea Crematory and The
Monterey City Crematory. In 1980 David became CEO and manager.
He has been a member of the Junior Chamber of Commerce, Christian
Business Men's Association, past President of the Pacific Grove
Rotary Club, member of the Pacific Grove Masonic Lodge, member
of the Pacific Grove Chamber of Commerce, served as Board Member
of the California Funeral Directors Association, Board Member
of the National Selected Morticians and past President of the
Monterey Bay Funeral Directors Association. A longtime member
of the Methodist church, founder of their Scholarship program
and served on many church committees.
David retired in 1999 and sold the Mortuary to The Keystone Group
a small privately owned group of funeral directors in Tampa, Florida.
He continues to serve Keystone as a consultant and a member of
their Advisory Board which meets twice a year to discuss company
operations. The Advisory Board established a scholarship program
for students in Mortuary Science throughout the United States
and created the "Arch of Achievement" program that honors their
firms for outstanding service in their communities.
David and his wife Patty were married in 1964 and have been partners
in marriage and business for over 44 years. David enjoys wood
working, stamp and coin collecting. They enjoy traveling, their
grandchildren and property development.

 Mr.
Odham is a native of New Bern, North Carolina and is a graduate
of New Bern High School. He was President of the Distributive Education
Club of America and thru this work program, began his career in
funeral service in 1967. Mr. Odham graduated from Kentucky School
of Mortuary Science in 1967 and was Vice President of Phi Sigma
Eta Fraternity.
Upon graduation, Mr. Odham returned to New Bern and joined Cotten Funeral Home as a licensed funeral director and embalmer. Several years later, in 1978, he purchased Cotten Funeral Home and served as the company’s President until his affiliation with Keystone Group Holdings, Inc. in 1998. Shortly thereafter, Mr. Odham became a member of the Keystone Advisory Board and continues to serve on that Board. Mr. Odham is currently the President of Odham, Inc., and is also a licensed auctioneer in the state of North Carolina.
Mr. Odham was an early innovator and coordinator of an important Keystone Service Program know as The Arch of Achievement Program, where he continues to serve as the program’s coordinator. This service program is designed to recognize and reward Keystone Funeral Homes and their staff, who exemplify service excellence, continuing education and superior professional skills. Each year award winners are selected by a panel of independent judges and recognized for their superior performance.
James is a member and Past Exalted Ruler of New Bern Elks Lodge and is currently serving as a Member of The Board of Trustees, he is the District Grand Lodge Auditor for the East District of N.C.; he is a member of Doric Masonic Lodge # 568 and a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason, New Bern York Rite member and New Bern Sudan Temple Shriner.
James continues to reside in New Bern, North Carolina where he enjoys spending time with his loving family.

 Merrie
Burley was born and raised in Seattle, Washington. She attended
Seattle Pacific University before marrying her husband Mark L. Burley
in 1974. At that time she began her apprenticeship at Bartleson
Funeral Chapel in Oak Harbor, Washington on Whidbey Island. Merrie
and Mark, together, went to San Francisco College of Mortuary Science.
Merrie became a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer in 1978 ,
the second women in Washington State to receive both licenses. She
was employed at Bartleson Funeral Chapel which she, and her husband
Mark, ultimately purchased in 1984, changing the name to Burley
Funeral Chapel. They co-owned and operated Burley Funeral Chapel
until 1999, at which time they affiliated with the Hamilton Group,
which later became a member of the Keystone Group.
Merrie was appointed by the Governor of Washington State to serve
on the Washington State Board of Funeral Director's and Embalmers.
She was the first woman to be appointed to this board and also had
the privilege to be the first woman chairperson of this board. Merrie
also has the distinction of becoming the first woman to receive
the Washington State Funeral Director of Year. Over her career she
has presented programs to schools from grade school through college,
hospitals, churches, and service organizations. Merrie along with
her husband are currently serving in the capacity of professional development for Keystone.
